David Rickert is an award-winning painter with an art gallery in Staples. His paintings cover a wide range of subjects and are characterized by bold color and dramatic light. David is experienced in oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor painting. His versatility also extends to a variety of painting styles, from realistic to impressionistic to abstract.
David’s Art Gallery in Staples is open most weekends during the spring and summer or by appointment.
Rose Edin's watercolor paintings capture the romance and beauty of scenes we see every day. Rose has a number of books published by Walter Foster Publishing of California; Scenes in Watercolor, Painting Around The World and Watercolor, a large comprehensive watercolor book co-authored along with 6 others.
Rose holds signature membership in the National Watercolor Society and the Transparent Watercolor Society of America. She has been awarded "Master" status with the TWSA where she has received top awards.
Pam uses a unique watercolor painting method combining little water and paint direct from the tube, adding acrylics for a mixed media effect. Pam paints not only on canvas, but also on discarded windows, old screen doors, window screens and used doors. She also makes mosaics — including customized house numbers — using broken dishes, recycled tiles and beach glass.
